Playing guitar since age twelve, Richie’s style was forged on blues and hard rock icons Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, and AC/DC, alongside the timeless melodies of The Beatles, Ritchie Valens, Los Lobos, and decades of ’70s–’90s power pop. Following ten years fronting Austin blues trios American Thighs and Truetone, and covering high-energy classics with Airwave ’80s, he’s excited to bring his versatile chops to Benny and the Big Shots, celebrating long-time favorites Elton John and Billy Joel.
