Paul picked up the sticks around age 12 and cut his teeth playing 70s rock with early influences ranging from artists like Steely Dan, Rush, Yes, Kansas, Supertramp to Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Billy Joel and Elton John. Music from albums 52nd Street, The Stranger, Can’t’ Buy a Thrill, AJA and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road were formative in his musical development.
Having never stopped playing since, he grew up playing in psych-rock, blues & country-rock bands in Indiana (Bloomington) & eventually worked his way to Austin playing in various classic-rock, blues, zydeco & latin bands.
